Multilayer design
BSM describes an interlayer interlocking design and a six-layer arrangement: 20% incisal, three 10% transition layers, 40% dentin and 10% cervical. The presentation describes the 40% dentin region as CAM-friendly.
Its listed indications include inlays/onlays, veneers, partial and full crowns, implant superstructures and multi-unit bridges up to 14 units. The clinician’s prescription and applicable instructions determine each case.
